Stack the Deck, with Betty Whitman
Time:
6:00pm - 8:30pm
This fast, fun and easy class is based on the book Stack the Deck: Crazy Quilts in 4 Easy Steps by Karla Alexander. Using an assortment of fat quarters, either flannel or regular cotton, students will make a set of easy crazy-pieced blocks by stacking fabric squares into a "deck", cutting them into segments, shuffling the fabrics in the "deck", and sewing the pieces back together again. This is a great way to make quick and easy gift quits. Students should have basic rotary cutting and machine piecing skills.
