One Block Wonder, with Betty Whitman
Time: 6:00pm - 9:00pm
Maxine Rosenthal combines the stack-n-whack technique of aligning the printed design on 6 layers of fabric and then cutting and sewing triangles together, with a watercolor approach to laying out the blocks into a finished quilt. The resulting quilts are beautiful, unique one-of-a-kind works of art, with color and design flowing across the quilt in intriguing ways.
