Cabrillo Sewing Center 31 May 2008, Saturday DogGone Quilts, with Sue Olsen Time: 10:30am - 4:30pm Renowned artist and teacher Sue Olsen has developed a quilting technique knows as "design to free-motion line". This is a fun, easy and very forgiving technique. She has created an original pattern line as a tool to teach this technique. All patterns and classes are designed for all levels. This technique is very "imperfect" and lends itself to freedom, fun, and lots of creativity. For this two-day workshop, you will need one of the Dog Gone Quilts patterns. There is a "homework" assignment to be completed before class. You can personalize your quilt by having a quilt pattern of your dog, cat or other pet custom-designed for a nominal fee; ask us how to make arrangements at least one month before the first class.
